🌿BREATHE TRUTH🌿
The Word gave life to everything that was created, and His life brought light to everyone. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it. —John 1:4-5
🌿LIVE THE REAL TRUTH🌿
All of us start out in this world in the dark. Birthed in our mother’s womb, our initial surrounding is full of darkness. Yet within this place void of sunlight, life arrived and survived. When the time came to birth this life, the darkness could not overcome it.
God propels us from darkness to new light. This cycle of thwarting the darkness, thriving despite darkness, is an integral part of our journey of faith, an intercession carried out by God’s Son, Jesus Christ. He died to rip apart the grip that darkness canopies over us. His death introduces something greater into the light and reveals the real motivation for His sacrifice on the cross: God’s divine love for us.
Light results in life that leads to love:
Light——>Life——>Love
Jesus sheds light to the light-less.
Jesus showers life to the lifeless.
Jesus shines love to the love-less.
A God who would send His son to die so you wouldn’t have to endure the mortal penalty of sin.

When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. (Romans 5:6)
Wanderers at heart. Jesus came to transform us to become worshippers. When we were helpless and held under the power of sin, Jesus Christ died for sinners like us who had not repented yet. When we were sheep without a shepherd, Jesus Christ came to lead us to the Light that loves us unconditionally. Stop straying and foraying. Start staying and praying to worship. Surrender your wandering. Be a worshipper for Jesus.

Now, most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good. (Romans 5:7)
Willful at heart. Jesus came to change us to become warriors. In our sinful, stubborn state, we are not upright or good. No one will offer to die for us. Yet as recalcitrant and resisting rebels, Jesus believes we are worth His death and devotion, dying for and loving after. Jesus faced His enemies and fought for us on the cross. Don’t fight Jesus. Fight with Him to advance the kingdom of God in your life. Surrender your willfulness. Be a warrior for Jesus.

But God showed His great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. (Romans 5:8)
Weak at heart. Jesus came to soften our spirit to welcome Him into our lives. He substituted our demise on the cross for Himself. God the father knew we were too weak to endure the agony of the cross, unable to handle the vast suffering that accompanied it. So God reformulated a rescue plan to replace our place on the cross through His Son. Because of His deep devotion for us, Jesus’s heart is beating for us, broken for us, beckoning for us. Let Jesus be your strength. Surrender your weaknesses. Be a welcomer of Jesus.

Jesus The Word, extended Life to us whom He created, so that we could experience His Light and encounter His unconditional Love. While we were still defiant and disobedient sinners struggling in the darkness, God sent His Son Jesus to be a substitutionary sacrifice in our situation.
Jesus breathed Life into us, birthed Light upon us, brought Love to us. The darkness can never extinguish His Life, His Light, or His Love because the Real Truth defeated death once and for all on the cross for you and for me.
