🌿LIVE THE REAL TRUTH🌿
The Red Sea is an extension of the Indian Ocean and forms a narrow seawater inlet between two continents. It is sandwiched between Africa and Asia.
When the Israelites are fleeing the Egyptians with Moses, they find themselves cornered as well. Sandwiched between the Red Sea in front of them, the Harei Edom mountains near them, and the Egyptian army behind them. Yet what does God do?

For God’s people: In the darkness, He sweeps the waters of the Red Sea aside to carve a path for them to pass through.
For the Egyptians: He stonewalls them from entering the Red Sea in pursuit. Once every Israelite man, woman, and child crosses, God allows the Egyptian armies to advance into the Red Sea only to find the waters crash over them. Not one single oppressor of God’s people survives to the opposite shore.
Mover of mountains. Breaker of chains. Savior of the seas. No one can stand against our God.

The Lord will be our Mighty One.
God the Warrior fights for His children. He leads us through the unknown. He loves us in our unloving. He lights the way in the darkness.

The appearance: It seems that the confrontation at the Red Sea is between the Israelites and the Egyptians.

The reality: The altercation is actually between God and the Egyptians. God’s people, worn down and weakened by 400 years of slavery, hold no weapons to attack and no way to defend. The combat is not bested between a helpless people and a Herculean protagonist. But a mighty God and a mammoth adversary. The challenger wants you to think you have to step up and stand off the fight of your life on your own. It’s a lie. God is here to fight for you.
Mover of mountains. Breaker of chains. Savior of the seas. No one can stand against our God.

God has staked a claim on your life. He completes it with two pieces of wood fastened into a cross. In the wide river, the span of your life, God secures and safeguards, shelters and shields.

The appearance: It may look like you are under siege and surrounded by the enemy.

The reality: God is the One surrounding you. He will not give your foe a foothold to lodge an attack or launch to progress further. The shores of your life are too vast for you to position a guard and post a sentinel at every vulnerable point of entry. But God’s reach is substantially far enough and significantly functional enough to do so. From every day to eternity, He covers immeasurably more than we could ask or address. No nemesis crossing or sailing under His watch.

The victor of the battlefield gets the real estate. Parcels of your life is what the opposition is after. To capture parts after parts until he possesses the whole. To accomplish this, the enemy has sent ships wanting to cross and waiting to conquer.
But God’s heart is wider, deeper, and higher than the river.
He will guard what you give Him.
He will save when you are surrounded.
He will calm the waters you have committed.
He will protect and preserve all that is yours.

Every day to Eternity. God the mighty One is standing up and standing against the enemy for you. All God wants is for you to stand strong and stay steadfast in Him. Watch God’s mighty hand overwhelm and overcome the ships that wage war over you.
The Real Truth will neither slumber nor sleep until the coast is clear.
