“A house is built by wisdom and becomes strong through good sense. Through knowledge its rooms are filled with all sorts of precious riches and valuables.” —Provers 24:3-4
🌿BELIEVE TRUTH🌿
To construct a house, you need the following:
Foundation, walls, windows, doors, a ventilation system of circulating air, a plumbing system of circulating water, and a roof.

Foundation.
We can lay a spiritual foundation based on our relationship with Jesus. A foundation that can withstand strong storms, tumultuous tempests, and unexpected upheavals. A foundation not situated on shifting sand, but a comprehensive cornerstone that can handle and hold off formidable forces when under spiritual attack.

Walls.
We erect walls to implement maximum function within. Discipleship, Bible study, serving, and evangelism endeavors. Walls that faithfully reflect the places and spaces our hands and feet have forged and fought for God. Sturdy walls which are not swept apart or swayed away when turbulent winds shake up and shake down the house.

Doors.
We position doors to enter and leave. Important to the security of our home, doors prevent unwanted intruders and welcome wanted visitors. Who we let in is just as important as who we lock out. A house with corrupt doors can allow in corrupt infiltrators who undermine the safe keeping of the home’s contents and compromise the integrity of its inhabitants’ character.

Windows.
Utilize windows to usher sunshine in. Small packets of light that illuminate and irradiate. We need the light of Jesus Christ to bolden and brighten where we tread and traverse. Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will gave the light of life.” (John 8:12). A house without windows to see Christ is like a prison of darkness.

Ventilation of Circulating Air.
The air we take in can make us healthy or ill. Inhale the fragrance and aroma of Christ. Exhale the worries and anxieties of the world that threaten to overwhelm. “Just as Christ loved you and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma.” (Ephesians 5:2)

Ventilation of Circulating Water.
We desire clean water that comes from a clean source. The water that washes over our lives can purity and cleanse our souls. Let in the living water of Jesus Christ and let out what doesn’t belong. He who believes in me, as Scripture said, ‘From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.” (John 7:38)

Roof.
Often, the focus is on the foundation or other areas more assessable. But the roof contains very relevant features to the house. A weak roof will leak harmful elements, causing damage and detriment. It isn’t the obvious gateway like the doorways, but the roof shelters all that the house holds and is itself an integral gateway.

Many roles are executed by differing characters of a house. They all work in sync to physically and spiritually secure a home.
