🌿Breathe Truth🌿
Two blind men were sitting beside the road. When they heard that Jesus was coming that way, they began shouting, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!”
When Jesus heard them, He stopped and called, “What do you want me to do for you?”
“Lord,” they said, “we want to see!” Jesus touched their eyes. Instantly, they could see! Then they followed Him. —Matthew 20:30, 32-33
🌿Believe Truth🌿
Our sphere of life. Community. Workplace. Neighborhood. Home. Family. God calls us to pursue Him where we are. Within our abilities and limitations. He doesn’t ask us to pursue Him outside of His will. No uncharted territory He hasn’t been to.

Seeing our need in Christ. The blind men were also beggars. Without a means to see, their blindness incapacitated their mobility as well. How many bruises covered their bodies, hands, arms, in their attempt to move about.
Likewise, spiritual blindness leads to our spiritual injuries. We hurt ourselves in the spiritual realm when we are spiritually blind to embracing God’s goodness and direction in our lives. Mireover, we often settle to stay blind. These blind men didn’t. They reached out to Jesus because they saw their need in Christ. That the potential and reality of vision could only be fulfilled by Jesus.
🍃🍃🍃
Seeing our freedom in Christ. The blind men were in a sense, prisoners, of their blindness. Darkness built itself 4 walls around these men. 4 walls:
No means to work.
No means to have a family, spouse, or children.
No means to go church or synagogue to be a part of a worshipping body.
No means to have a physical home or be a part of a neighborhood and community.
Likewise, spiritual imprisonments lead to spiritual shackles that keep us from living an abundant and freed life in Christ. We hurt ourselves in the spiritual realm when we are in bondage to whatever darkness Satan is keeping us in. We can’t see that Satan is attempting to thwart every plan of God to deliver us into a salvation that releases us to worship and glorify God in our lives wholeheartedly. Often, we even settle to stay shackled. These blind men didn’t. They wanted a divine freedom from their blindness.
