🌿Breathe Truth🌿
“I will put a desire in their hearts to worship Me.” —Jeremiah 33:40
🌿Believe Truth
Today at church, I led worship for some kindergarteners for the first time. At the end of Sunday School class after they’ve expended lots of energy the entire morning and have mellowed in spirit to enjoy singing praise songs to Jesus.
Since most of them cannot read yet, we went the snail singing route. I sang the song. Repeat. We all sang the song together. Learning by hearing. No technology needed.
What was particularly different were the songs I picked from a selection in the Bible curriculum that accompanied the series they are studying. For example, the song that had a melody to “ Mary Had A Little Lamb” was turned into “We Can Learn From the Bible.” A secular song changed into a Bible song.
To be Kingdom-minded doesn’t mean we have to invent the wheel. We can utilize the resources from the world and transform it into a facilitator of worship. Worship…..meaning not just in the realm of singing, but of surrendering to God through a gamut of facets of our lives.
Is there something in your sphere of life or work that is of a secular nature that you can turn into a conduit of worship, to honor God, to point others towards God, to share the gospel story written by God.
Pray for Kingdom-Minded opportunities to advance the kingdom of God where you are. Live Kingfom-minded and share the Real Truth.
