Butterflies That Leave

  1. People come into your life, and then they leave.  It’s a part of life.  Grow well with them while they are there.  Love them as Christ does.  Forgive them as Christ does.  But when they need to go, trust that it’s all a part of God’s plan.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.  The old has passed away.”  —2 Corinthians 5:17

God places people in your life for a purpose.  In different seasons for different reasons.

But some people don’t stay and God knew that ahead of time.  Life is a transition of seasons, time, and people.  The goal is for our holiness.  To transform our character.  To better our character.  Because of those who entered our lives and fellowshipped with us for a time, space, and place.

If you are in Christ, you are a new creation.  We have a God who offers new life for those who believe and embrace Him.  This includes a spiritual transformation for each next season in our lives.  There’s more to grow ahead.  More to dig deeper.  More of to learn of His Son Jesus Christ.  More to align our character a little closer to eternity with every advancing season.

Appreciate the old seasons.  Have a divine expectancy for the new one.  God is a God over all seasons.  And those people who were a part of our lives.  You’ll see them again in heaven.  Past wounds, hurts, disappointments, unexpected endings.  The blood of Jesus Christ covers all.

The caterpillar.  Goes into its cocoon.  Then it flies away as a butterfly.  Leaving is a part of our life cycle.

Butterflies fly on.  The Creator of the butterflies remains. Always will.  He will not leave you nor forsake you.

But you are always the same; You will live forever.”  —Psalm 102:27

Trust in the Creator’s steadfastness.  Trust in His plan for you in every season.  Trust in the Real Truth when butterflies fly.
