Messsages are powerful ways to exchange and relay information. Satan likes two types of messages.
The message of discouragement.
The false message of the enemy is this: You can try to fight me but you will lose. Go ahead and surrender now.
Hezekiah received a message from messengers that King Sennacherib. Sent with the intentions to discourage Hezekiah by questioning God’s ability to deliver them in Issiah 37:9.
If God’s people fall for the lies that He does not care, will not take care, or will not intervene on their behalf, then discouragement will set in.
The messsage of deception.
When the enemy speaks lies. You pray truth. The enemy wants a dialogue with you. Don’t even get started. The enemy’s games are not your games. Satan has mastered the dialogue game. Communication leads to cooperation. Cooperation with the enemy leads to sin.
The serpent spoke to Eve. The rest is history.
Just as you toss aside junk snail mail and delete email spam. Filter the types of messages of the spiritual nature that come into your life.
God will send you only messages that will strengthen your relationship with Him and bring you closer to Him.
Don’t let the enemy confuse you. Choose the right messages. Choose the Real Truth,
