Figurative and literal storms will occur in your life. Without a secure anchor to hold on to, you will be at the mercy of the storm and the affects of its aftermath.
Weathering storms. There is no one survival manual guide that explains everything, what to do, what not to do. No 40 days to declutter and simplify your life so you can make it through the storm. No cookie cutter formulas or short cuts to restoration when Satan slams you against the jaggered rocks of condemnation.
The world will sell you alternatives to feel better in the storm in x number of days, but when your storms are of a divine nature and the opposition in the storm is Satan himself, fleshly gimmicks in 40 days or 40 ways is not going to bring supernatural victory. Or heal the hard places that Satan intends to drench maximum pain.
When Jesus is our anchor, His hold on us is strong and certain. He will not let us go.
“We who have fled to Hin for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. This hope is a strong trustworthy anchor for our souls.” —Hebrews 6:18-19
Jesus as our Anchor can overcome waves of disappointment or disillusionment. His Word describes to us that He is a safe place, a trustworthy anchor. Our hope is secure in His anchor.
The purpose of every tempest that Satan throws at us is to lead us into spiritual death. To believe that we can never be free from our sin or bondage. To be so struck down and wounded that our faith in God falters.
But this is a lie, and God’s word reveals this lie.
“He personally carried our sins in His body on the cross so that we can be dead to sin and live for what is right. By His wounds you are healed.” —1 Peter 2:24
Anchor your heart and soul to Jesus. Make His anchor the Real Truth in your life.
