The enemy is planning and plotting to wreck havoc in your spiritual life. But God already has an antidote. His name is Jesus Christ.
Every day we battle. The fighting field isn’t a physical one. For those in the trenches. You know. If this is your first time to discover. Welcome.
The battle grounds. Three.
- A spiritual warfare.
- A psychological warfare.
- A family warfare.
Satan does not attack one without assaulting one of the others.
The players.
- God versus Satan. A spiritual warfare. In a war, there is a commander or leader. The opposing army fights against the commander and his loyal followers who belong to Him. We belong to God. That’s why the enemy will war against you. “Then God said, ‘Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us….So God created human beings in His own image. In the image of God He created them; male and female He created them.” —Genesis 1:26-27
- Your mind. A psychological warfare. The serpent accosted Eve in the garden of Eden. His approach: Placing doubt in Eve’s mind about the veracity of God’s words. “Really say.” To make the wheels in Eve’s mind spinning, questioning. “One day he (the serpent) asked the woman, ‘Did God really say you must not eat the fruit from any of the trees in the garden?’ ” —Genesis 3:1
- Your family, marriage, spouse, children, brothers, sisters. A family warfare. Satan attacks the children of Adam and Eve. Cain and Abel. He plants seeds of division, jealously, and hatred in Cain’s heart against Abel. God even warns Cain of Satan’s presence and pending arrival. God tells Cain: “Sin is crouching at the door, eager to control you. But you must subdue it and be its master.” —Genesis 4:7
Satan attacks the first man, woman, children, siblings, family. He is on a war path and you are in his way. But God sent His Son to intercede. On your behalf. On my behalf. On your children’s behalf. On your family’s behalf.
God’s declaration over you and against Satan: “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.” —John 3:16
God sent His Son to battle for us. He died on the battlefield in our place so we would not have to. His death saved our lives.
Know that God has your back. Know and believe the Real Truth.
