What consumes you? People in your life, plans you lay down, pursuits you lean into. But no relationship you care for, no reality you construct, and no road you choose, can satisfy your soul like the consuming presence of the Holy Spirit.
Our souls were created to be filled with eternity and focused on heaven, to be held deeper and hidden higher. To burn passionately in the fire of the Living God with Living Water flowing in us.
Beloved, we were wildly and wonderfully created…..
to connect our hearts with God.
to call out in spirit for God.
to communicate our praises to God.
Focus on eternity, and the fights we face, the failures we falter, and the fears we find, become small as heaven becomes big, and bigger.
Worship is more than a song. It is a surrender of all that we are, all that we hope to be, as the living water of Jesus Christ immerses over us, and we strive to overcome all that consumes us in this world.
