🌿BREATHE TRUTH🌿
“I know Lord that our lives are not our own. We are not able to plan our own course.” —Jeremiah 10:23-24
Can you shout to the clouds and make rain appear? —Job 38:34
Is it your wisdom that makes the hawks soar and spread its wings toward the south? —Job 39:26
🌿BELIEVE TRUTH🌿
We have no idea how our life is going to unfold. Or rather, how it is going to unravel.
We plan the day, but can we make rain drops fall to the ground or hawks rise and soar to the heights?
Our “reach” doesn’t reach to the heavens. But our God does. Our “reach” doesn’t descend to the bottom depths. But our God does. He is in charge above and below.

Every day of our life, God gathers and grasps the pieces of our lives.
God re-prepares what we prepare.
God re-plans what we plan.
God re-purposes what we purpose.

Every day of our life, God melts and molds the pieces of our lives.
He re-configures our helplessness.
He re-formulates our happiness.
He re-invigorates our hope.

God is with us in our journey of faith. Our lives are not our own. We pick and pack provisions, but the course of our turns, turnabouts, and turn arounds can still lead us where we weren’t prepared for.
So on roads familiar and not-so-familiar. Rest assure and press ahead. When you encounter and experience the unraveling of your travels, the Real Truth is still in control.
