🌿BREATHE TRUTH🌿
I have told you all this so that you may have peace in Me. Here on earth, you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world. —John 16:33
🌿LIVE THE REAL TRUTH🌿
In this quiet moment with Jesus and His disciples, He lifts their spirit with a light of hope.
Trials and testing will come your way. But don’t forget, the Way will overcome and so will you. Jesus will not sugarcoat the future nor shelter you from the facts of reality. He wants to admonish you of the unexpected so you will know what to expect when problems make their appearance.
Jesus is truth, and He is preparing us to live out His Truth regardless of our tribulations.
Jesus is peace, and He packages His perfect peace to carry with us into our turbulence.
Jesus is heart, and He proclaims His heartbeat of deliverance against our tumult.

Storms surge and swell. But God can more than handle what it sends. No storm formed and fashioned against us will stand with God at hand.

God’s presence in trouble.
The floods have risen up, O Lord. (Psalm 93:3)
When floods arise in our lives, God rises higher. We call out to Him in our need, and God carries us to higher ground.

God’s provision in trouble.
The floods have roared like thunder; the floods have lifted their pounding waves. (Psalm 93:4)
When the floods roars its thunder, God’s voice lifts up louder. We cry out to God when we fear the tempest, and God floats us above it.

God’s power in trouble.
But mightier than the violent raging of the seas, mightier than the breakers on the shore—the Lord above is mightier than these! —Psalm 93:5
When the floods mightily rage, God makes known His might to quell it. We come to God for help, and God calms the sea around us with all His might.

Galatians 4:5 tells us that God sacrificed His Son to buy our freedom from our previous way of life, confined by its constraints and control. In the midst of drenched upheavals, we also allow them to dictate our lives.
But God sends His Son to free us from all things that desire to master over us, including storms. Outward storms in our lives are a manifestation and manipulation of the inner storms taking place. What brews and blows internally will eventually make itself blatant externally.

Halt a deep breathe and hand your intrinsic storms over to Jesus. Don’t acquiesce to its demands spearheaded at your soul. Swirling storms will spiral out of control and sweep you somewhere you don’t not want to stay. The storms’ objective: to determine the direction of your decisions and the depth of your devotion to Jesus.
It’s as if they have taken on a personhood and personality of their own. If storms can move you directionally away from God’s will for your life and dampen and distance your love for His Son Jesus, it will achieve much spiritual damage. Don’t cave in, get carried away, or get caught up. Don’t let storms decide your future. Trust the Storm Handler.

God’s presence, provision and power remain present regardless of the storm billowing against you. Remain steadfast and secure that God is stronger than the rising flood waters, roaring louder than the pounding waves, and standing mightier than the ocean breakers. No matter the tribulation or testing, God is the Real Truth in every storm you encounter.
