Zacchaeus is standing among the crowds. Being short has so many disadvantages, thinks Zacchaeus. But that tree might be the answer. If I can reach up that tree, I’ll be able to see Jesus.
When we reach out in faith, Jesus roars over our circumstances and above our crisis.
”Zacchaeus, come on down.” Jesus is roaring.
”Zacchaeus, I’m coming to your house.” Jesus is roaring.
“Zacchaeus, let’s talk today.” Jesus is roaring.
Jesus wants to come talk to you today. Wherever your heart is, whatever your thoughts are, however your circumstances look, how hard the crisis is.
Talk it to God.
