🌿Believe Truth🌿
One of the most challenging endeavor in life is to let go of a dream. Sometimes, it takes years. But little by little God shows you Truth. You knew it had to happen. God reaffirmed it over and over.
The second hardest undertaking? The desire to grasp hold again. That reminder in your day, in your remembrance of that bit of that dream that was good. For a minute, you forget the rest of the awful memories. And you want to go back. But you never can.

On the road, many cars abound. Drivers in those cars steer ahead. They drive forward. No one drives backwards. If a car were to be operated backwards, it will get into an accident with the vehicles behind or around it.
The nature of life is to move forward. Up ahead, in front. In similar manner, dreams function. You dream forward. Not backwards.

Because the people in your dreams move forward as well. People change, and not always for the best. If you dream backwards, you’ll be looking for someone who isn’t there anymore.
They are not that same person you knew in the past. If you dream backwards, you’ll be looking for the wrong individual. That person doesn’t exist anymore, and you would have been deceiving yourself.

Always and forever are not generally compatible with earthly dreams. People sin. People change. People will leave. People are not faithful. But God is the opposite of all this. God is perfect, never-changing, forever eternal, perpetually faithful.
If you are going to dream then, dream with God’s will in mind. Dream of a life where you find delight in God, hope in Him, joy in His presence, pleasures forevermore with Him.

Where His goodness wraps its arms completely around the plans of your life.
Where the pain of the past doesn’t pierce your soul anymore.
Where hurtful encounters no longer binds you in its grips.
Where condemnation of your prior weaknesses, previous mistakes, personal failures aren’t master of the ship you’re journeying on anymore.
Where the outcome of your dreams are no longer controlled by the actions of others.

“Still, I am certain to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait patiently for the Lord. Be strong and courageous.” —Psalm 37:13-14
Drive forward. Seek and see the goodness of the Lord in front of you. The pain of your past doesn’t dictate where your destination is anymore. God does. Trust in His navigation. He will steer you in the best direction. For good, not to hurt you.
Be strong and courageous. You survived all the relationships and the past that steered you wrong. You survived the lies and deceptions. The road ahead is better with God.
