🌿BELIEVE TRUTH🌿
Grass is incredibly tough. It can withstand the elements in a stratum of changing climates and devastating duress. It springs fourth after being run over and trodden upon. It regrows after encounters with blazing fire and forceful flooding. It remains alive despite sparse water and scorching sunshine.

Dreams are like grass. They are sometimes hard to die, and tend to resurrect themselves. Even when you try to let them go, they come back, as if an old friend from a long time ago. They withstand the test of time because they still stand after so much time has passed. They grow on you as you go. They remain despite trials and tears. They are resilient even when trampled and tested.

But there are dreams that you can’t keep no matter how much you want to. God has changed you and you’re not the same person. You want more. In your milestones with God. In the making of your home with His Son Jesus. In the ministry God birthed in your heart and hands. And the more part that you want and need, that dream can no longer partner with you there. The dream has changed too. What’s pertinent to it and its pursuits are different now. That dream no longer has the same vision as you do.
So where do you go? Back to the One who fervently remains, faithfully never changes. The One who sees where you are and where you ought to be. In season and out of season. In your journey of making God bigger than your dream.

Pour out to the Lord like water all that you had hoped, held on, and held out for. Give your dream to God and relinquish your grasp on it. He knows what to do with it and where it belongs. The great exchange: The dream you give up to God. He will carve a new one for you within His will and in His timing. Pour yourself out to God and dream your heart forward upon the Real Truth.
