“Who among you fears the Lord and obeys His servant? If you are walking in darkness, without a ray of light, trust in the Lord and rely on your God.” —Isaiah 50:10
🌿LIVE THE REAL TRUTH🌿
A precipice of steep and deep proportions. The other side seems a vast distance away. No way out of this canyon except across. A very thin walkway. One misstep and the peril of devastation deals a deadly blow. The fallout of failing is final.
This is how many of us live out our lives. We stand over cliffs too high, an escarpment too harrowing, a plateau too unstable, an edge too insecure. Then, we walk across the precipice in darkness.
Some of us believe this is the only way. Others choose to believe this is the only way. In the end, both flawed decisions dead ends to a bottomless pit and we wonder why.
Lies the enemy enmeshes us in will eventually lead us to believe them as truth. But God always gives us a way out. A better way. God will find a way that isn’t dangerous to your soul. That dark walkway across the precipice is not the answer. Where we continue crossing the same place and come back to the same defeated desires and destructive decisions.

The solution to your soul’s salvation never lies in darkness and repeated dark behaviors that reinforce the darkness’ power over you.

Comfort and Control.
Once we have traversed in darkness enough, it becomes light to us. The darkness’ influence becomes a part of the landscape of our lives and we grow used to it. We settle for the darkness when we can walk in the light. Don’t get comfortable in the darkness.
The comfort you feel is really a crutch Satan crafts to corner you to stay within the confines of the dark to control you. Satan can’t control you in the Light. The realm of the Light belongs to God. But the dominion of darkness is in Satan’s control. “For we are not fighting against flesh and blood, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world.” (Ephesians 6:12)

Jesus declares, “I am the Light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness.” (John 8:12)
The physical light wanes at the end of the day. When dusk overcomes, the light retires itself for the night. But God sent His Son Jesus to be the perpetual light.
Jesus the glimmer that never stops glowing.
Jesus the flare that never stops flickering.
Jesus the light that never stops illuminating.
Jesus the sun that never stops shining.
Jesus the blaze that never stops burning.

If you have Jesus living inside your spirit and leading your soul, He will leave bright and brilliant shimmers of radiance to radically show the way you need to journey.
He will light your path with His luminescent torch of the Word of God. Follow Jesus in the Real Truth and you won’t have to tread upon the precipice in the dark.

If you are surrounded by darkness now, stretch out your hand and grab hold of God’s. He’s got you. You can trust Him. You can rely on Him.
Live your life in the blaze and the bonfire of Jesus. Who betters your way because He is the Way, the Life, and the Real Truth. Forever, Jesus fires the flame that will never stop fighting to win you back into His light.
