🌿BREATHE TRUTH🌿
One day as Jesus was walking along the shore of the Sea 0f Galilee, He saw two brothers—Simon, also called Peter, and Andrew—throwing a net into the water, for they fished for a living. Jesus called out to them, “Come, follow Me, and I will show you how to fish for people.” —Matthew 4:18
A little farther up the shore He saw two other brothers, James and John, sitting in a boat with their father, Zebedee, repairing their nets. And He called them to come, too. They immediately followed Him, leaving the boat and their father behind. —Matthew 4:21-22
🌿LIVE THE REAL TRUTH🌿
Tours of extreme activities in extreme places offer the adrenaline of a lifetime. For a price, you can go on an exclusive quest you will never forget. But all these pale in the comparison when the Messiah of the world approaches you with this offer: Come join Me. Are you ready for adventure?
🍃🍃🍃
Adventure with Jesus to the unknown.
Two pairs of brothers. Peter and Andrew are throwing nets into the water to catch fish today. John and James are repairing their fishermen nets to catch fish another day. Regardless of our plans. No matter the picture of what our day or tomorrow will look like. The timing of Jesus is perfect.
Jesus comes to us where we are.
Jesus calls us where we are.
Jesus catches us where we are.
These brothers were only completing their jobs. They got up to get gearing like any other day. They thought thoughts like any other day. They began beginnings like any other day. They visualize visuals like any other day. Then Jesus comes along.
Jesus offers an adventure bigger.
Jesus offers an adventure better.
Jesus offers an adventure bolder.
What Jesus is offering to these brothers, He offers to you and me. Will you join Him?

Go on a bigger adventure with Jesus.
Jesus proclaimed to the brothers Peter and Andrew this flashing news: Before, you catch fish. After, you catch people. An adventure with Jesus always has a before and after picture. The after picture with Jesus is always bigger.
Before, you fished for fish to make a living. After, you will fish for people to help them live. Before, fisherman. After, disciples of Jesus. Bigger visual. Bigger vision. Before Jesus, you are trying to make it through each day. After Jesus, He is the only way, and He is making a way for you to truly live life. To live with a bigger vision of the kingdom of God taking hold of your life.
Jesus’ bigger adventure for these two pairs of brothers was to change the hearts and souls of the people back to God. To give them a new purpose for living this life. Jesus has a bigger adventure for you. He is calling and He wants you to respond to His call.

Go on a better adventure with Jesus.
James and John were fishermen like their father. They worked with their father Zebedee who was also a fisherman. In the New Testament times, sons often followed in the footsteps of their fathers in their career choice. James and John most likely grew up accompanying their father Zebedee on his fishing boat, learning and honing their fishing skills from him. Like Jesus who became a carpenter like his earthly father Joseph, James and John mirrored this trend as well.
So, when Jesus finds James and John, they were where one would expect them to be, on a boat working with their fisherman father. But when Jesus comes for us, He changes our expected to the unexpected.
James and John believed their life was already preplanned and planned out. They had embraced and engaged themselves in their father’s profession. Jesus’ arrival would disrupt and disconnect the expected they had accepted.
🍃🍃🍃
Jesus is coming for you. His arrival will transform your expected and make it a better adventure. After Jesus finds them, James and John leave their father and boat immediately. A better adventure with Jesus means leaving our expected and trusting Him to lead us into the unexpected and unknown. Jesus won’t take us on a journey that is less better than what He has planned ahead for us in the Real Truth.
